Our Story
Started in 1975. Still independent.
Maricopa Air began in 1975 doing the work that couldn’t wait: rooftop units on Phoenix commercial buildings in August, walk-in coolers in busy kitchens, and home AC systems through some of the hottest summers in the country. Over the years, we’ve learned that customers don’t want a sales pitch; they want a technician who’s seen the failure before and knows exactly how to fix it.
For over 50 years, we’ve kept the company small, local, and focused on the work. Our team is committed to staying independent, staying in the Valley, and doing the job right.
Who We Work For
Small and mid-sized businesses across the Valley, and the neighbors next door.
Our commercial work covers office buildings, retail spaces, property management portfolios, restaurants, and breweries. Alongside our commercial clients, we service homes across Scottsdale and the Phoenix area.
That mix shapes how we work in your home. The diagnostic habits, the honesty about what’s wrong, and the discipline about what it costs to fix come from commercial accounts where downtime isn’t an option.
Real people. Real diagnostics. Real solutions.

The Crew
Locally rooted, and growing.
We’ve stayed rooted in the Valley since 1975, and we’re growing along with it. Our crew has been here long enough to know the buildings, the systems, and the customers by name. We’re licensed, bonded, and insured in Arizona. We’re an American Standard Customer Care Dealer, a Goodman Certified Dealer, and an Amana dealer: manufacturer credentials earned by our technicians.
When you call us, you’re talking to people who work on the equipment, so you’ll get a straight answer about what’s wrong and what it’ll take to fix.
Our Mission
To raise the standard of the HVAC and refrigeration trade in Arizona by earning trust on every job, doing quality work the first time, and making a positive impact on the clients and communities we serve.

- Accountability. We show up on time and prepared, own our work, and see every job through without cutting corners on quality or safety.
- Solutions First. We meet problems with a plan and act on it.
- Continuous Improvement. We get better every day, on the job and at home: our skills, our process, our results.
- Reputation. Our name has stood in Maricopa County since 1975. Every interaction adds to it or takes from it.

FAQs
About Maricopa Air FAQs
Is Maricopa Air owned by private equity?
No. Maricopa Air is locally owned and independent, with no private-equity backing. A growing number of home service companies have been bought by private-equity firms in recent years; we’re not one of them. Decisions are made here in Scottsdale by people who answer to our customers, not to investors.
Who does Maricopa Air work with?
Small and mid-sized businesses across the Valley, including property managers, commercial real estate firms, offices, retail, restaurants, and breweries, as well as homeowners across Scottsdale and the Phoenix area.
